Report: 1% of Wheaton College students repaying loans are in default

Out of 548 Wheaton College students repaying loans in 2015, 6 were in default, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

That gives the four-year private school in Wheaton a default rate of 1 percent for that year – 0.2 percentage points lower than in 2014 and 0.7 points higher than in 2013.

Wheaton College had 1 fewer student in default in 2015 than in 2014 and 4 more than in 2013.
