Dan Cronin wins Dupage County board chairman's race

Republican Dan Cronin has been declared the winner in the Dupage County board chairman's race against Democrat Lynn LaPlante.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Cronin had 51.57 percent of the vote with a total of 177,997 votes.

LaPlante received 48.43 percent of the vote with a total of 167,177 votes.
