City of Darien recently issued the following announcement.
An Illinois House of Representatives Environment and Energy Committees have scheduled a joint hearing for October 26, 2018 at 10:00am at the Michael A. Bilandic building, 160 N. LaSalle C-600, 6th Floor Building in Chicago. The purpose of the hearing is to solicit public input on the Sterigenics facility in Willowbrook.

The City of Darien submitted written testimony as an opponent to Sterigenics. The written testimony included the Resolution Stating the Position of the Mayor and City Council that was approved on October 1, 2018. Click here to view Resolution
