WARRENVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT: Crime Alert: Recent Car Burglaries

Warrenville Police Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.

Recently, several car burglaries have occurred in the Summerlakes and Fox Hollow subdivisions between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. on varying days of the week. In all cases, the burglarized vehicles and trailers were left unlocked. In two separate cases, home video surveillance captured the offenders (shown below).

If you observe suspicious activity, you are encouraged to call 9-1-1 at the time it is observed or is happening. Anyone who knows the identity of the persons pictured below or who has information regarding these incidents, is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Dawson of the Warrenville Police Department at 630-393-2131.

Help Protect your Property:

Never leave your unattended vehicle running

• Don’t leave your keys inside your vehicle

• Remove valuable items like: phones, electronics, purses, etc.

• Keep garage door openers out of sight

• Most Importantly...Keep your vehicle locked! ...even when

your vehicle is parked in your driveway
