City of West Chicago issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
ROCKTOBER is almost here!
Join the WeGo Crafty group at Gallery 200 on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – noon and take part in “The Kindness Rocks Project.”
Attendees can drop-in during this event, add to the kindness wall and then create a kindness rock! This event is a free, family friendly drop-in and open to all; all art supplies will be provided courtesy of People Made Visible and local donations.
After visitors contribute to the project they are invited to enjoy the entertainment and food that is part of downtown West Chicago’s 1st Annual Food Festival which runs from 11L00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Main Street.
