WHEATON POLICE DEPARTMENT: Arrest for Battery, Theft and Disorderly Conduct

Wheaton Police Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 3.

On Sept. 30, 2018 at approximately 6:30 p.m., Wheaton Police Officers were called to Northside Park, 1300 N West Street, for a recent theft. The victim alleged the suspect had stolen a phone after having touched the victim inappropriately and made references to sex. After investigating the complaint, Salvador Manuel Silva was arrested on misdemeanor charges of Battery, Theft, and Disorderly Conduct. He was taken to bond court and transferred to the DuPage County Jail.

Charges:

Battery, Theft, and Disorderly Conduct (misdemeanors)
