VILLAGE OF LISLE: Secretary of State Mobile Unit Returns to Lisle

Village of Lisle issued the following announcement on July 30.

The Secretary of State (SOS) Mobile Unit will be at Lisle Village Hall, 925 Burlington Avenue in Lisle, on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Village Board Room. SOS representatives will assist individuals with a number of services, including:

  • Renewal and correction of driver’s licenses and state ID cards, and issuance of new state ID cards
  • Vision tests only (no renewals that require a written test or road test will be processed)
  • Motor Voter and Organ Donor registration with renewal of driver’s licenses and state ID cards
  • Purchase of vehicle registration renewal stickers for all vehicles (including B-truck plates)
For seniors ages 65 and up, there is no charge for state ID cards. Seniors ages 75 and up are required to visit the Department of Motor vehicles to renew a driver’s license.

Proper identification is required at the time of service. Acceptable forms of payment include personal checks, cashier’s checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards, and debit cards. Cash will not be accepted.
