Darien School District 61 recently issued the following announcement.
During the first few weeks of school, students in grades three, four, six, and seven will receive Chromebook laptops for school and home use.
This is a continuation from last year's one computer one student initiative or 1:1.
There are two informational meetings scheduled for families of students in grades three, four, six, and seven at 7pm on August 14 or August 16.
Parents will receive paperwork and optional insurance details. Parents may choose whatever evening is most convenient for their schedules.
We look forward to sharing this exciting information with families at this voluntary meeting.
All meetings will be in the commons room at Eisenhower Junior High School.
After August 16th, all information will be posted on the D61 Chromebook portal page.
