Village of Itasca issued the following announcement on June 18.
The Grand Opening of the Ray Franzen Bird Sanctuary will be Saturday June 23, 10am-12pm at 706 N Rohlwing Road.
There will be giveaways, snacks and activities for those attending. Amenities include a 1/3 mile accessible loop, playground, and more.
