City of Wheaton issued the following announcement on May 18.
UPDATE-due to weather concerns, the sealcoating of Lots 2 & 7 will be rescheduled for a date in June. We will send out an update once the date is confirmed.
Weather permitting, a contractor hired by the City of Wheaton will be performing sealcoating and restriping of City Parking Lots 2 and 7 on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Lot 2 is located in downtown Wheaton on Wesley Street between Hale Street and Main Street. Lot 7 is located at the southeast corner of Williston Street and Crescent Street.
Barring any unforeseen delays, such as weather, Lot 2 and Lot 7 will be closed starting early the morning of Sunday, May 20, for one day, to allow crews to perform the improvements. Work will be completed and the lots will be reopened by 7 a.m. on Monday, May 21.
