Report: Wood Dale spent $12,888 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Wood Dale School District 7 is up 13 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $11,358 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $12,888 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1095 to 1110.

Wood Dale's spending in 2016-17 was 1 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
