Report: Burr Ridge spent $17,075 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Burr Ridge Community Consolidated School District 180 is up 24 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $13,800 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $17,075 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 665 to 642.

Burr Ridge's spending in 2016-17 was 32 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
