Analysis: Roselle pays $4.06 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Roselle Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 80.1 percent of the $1,336,147 the Roselle Police Pension Fund brought in last year, or $4.06 for every $1 from pension members, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Roselle contributed $1,070,333 to the fund, which saw a $42,539 increase in revenue over 2015. Members contributed $263,626, or 19.7 percent, in 2016. Another $2,188 came from other unspecified sources.
