Khouri campaign video focuses on supporting the community

Vote 05

“Politicians are there when they need you, Tonia Khouri is there when you need her.”

That is the opening line of a 30-second campaign video supporting Khouri, a DuPage County Board Member and 49th District candidate seeking to replace Rep. Mike Fortner (R-West Chicago), who is retiring.

The video features a friend and an employee.

“My wife passed away about four years ago and Tonia was one of the first who stepped up to come and say, ‘Hey, can I help,’” Matt Loutsis said in the video.

Another clip of Loutsis shows more support.

“I trust her, I have seen her in action,” Loutsis said.

Employee Jasmine Rivera also supports the candidate for the 49th House District, which includes parts of Aurora, Batavia, Elgin, Geneva, Naperville, St. Charles, Warrenville and West Chicago.

“They understand what I am going through as a single mother,” Jasmine Rivera, an employee for Khouri, said in the video. “And with a son with autism, they really understand and they pull me through.”

The campaign advertisement is paid for by Liberty Principles PAC, a conservative group that endorsed Khouri.

The video of the wife and mother of Aurora ends announcing her stance.

“Tonia Khouri. Servant. Leader,” the announcer says.
