Registration is open for the Women in Business Multi-Chamber "speed networking" event and luncheon presented by the Carol Stream Chamber of Commerce.
During the "Network Your Heart Out" luncheon, keynote speaker Dave Sabathne will teach participants how to make a 30-second "infomercial" with their name, company name, a referral name, who they would like to meet in which professions and a memorable hook at the end, according to a release. After the luncheon, participants will partake in a speed round of networking. Participants are asked to bring 50 or more business cards, as they can expect to meet many new contacts during the event.
Registration and RSVP are required for this event; walk-ins will not be allowed due to the limited space and preparation needed. Registration can be completed online or by calling Luanne Newman at 630-665-3325. Registration will close Jan. 19. Chamber members must prepay $25, and nonmembers must prepay $30. A cancellation/no-show fee of $25 will also apply.
The program will start at 11:30 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 4070 E. Main St., St. Charles.
