The Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce will host the Occupational Safety and Health Administration General Industry Training in January.
The chamber said in a news release that the 30-hour training will be held in four sessions. The sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 8, 12, 15 and 22 at 306 Main St. in West Chicago. Each session will have a one-hour break for lunch.
Workplace safety and health will be the focus of the training, which will also educate workers about their rights as well as what hazards to look for in their places of work.
Costs to attend the training is $650 for chamber-partner members and Illlnois Chamber members, and $700 for nonmembers.
