Engineering students at the College of DuPage will look to generate interest in their field among area high school juniors and seniors on Nov. 10 on the Glen Ellyn campus, according to a press release from the school.
The "Explore Engineering" event will include students showcasing their experiences and professional engineers discussing the use of their degrees in the fields of industrial, bio, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering. Representatives from four-year engineering schools in Illinois will be on hand to answer questions and provide information.
The free event in the school's Student Resource Center will run from 6 to 9 p.m. RSVPs are encouraged by emailing morriss2149@cod.edu or calling (630)942-3059 by Monday, Nov 6.
