The fall calendar is filled with fundraisers and food for the DuPage County Republican Party.
So far this month, members in Wayne Township were invited to the local GOP’s Hunt Brunch at the Dunham Woods Riding Club on Oct. 15.
Steve Nero hosted a fundraiser for his county board race on Oct. 19 with U.S. Rep. Darin LaHood (R-IL) as a special guest at La Barra in Oak Brook.
U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) was slated to be at the Marriott Naperville on Oct. 20 to headline a fundraiser for colleague Peter Roskam’s (R-IL) campaign push for the 2018 midterm election. Roskam will also attend the Downers Grove Township GOP’s Reagan Day Dinner on Nov. 16. The dinner is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. at Ashyana Banquets in Downers Grove.
The county GOP will host its Republican Day Dinner at the Medinah Shriners in Addison from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 23. Retired Marine Sgt. John Tiegen will provide the keynote speech. On Nov. 7, county board candidate Jim Zay will have a fundraiser at the the same location from 5 to 7 p.m.
