Nybo seeks signatures for re-election to Illinois Senate

Sen. Chris Nybo (R-Elmhurst) has petitions available for placement on the 2018 Republican primary ballot.

The petition has blanks for 15 signers, but each signer must provide a physical address. The primary election will be on March 20.

Nybo has been in the Senate since 2014 and was in the House of Representatives from 2011-13, his government biography page says. Nybo also was on the Elmhurst City Council. He is a native of and lives in Elmhurst.

Nybo is the minority spokesman on the Executive and Financial Institutions committees. He is also on the Commerce and Economic Development, Energy and Public Utilities, Gaming and Revenue committees, the Committee of the Whole, and the Special Committee on Oversight and Managed Care.

Cities in the 24th Senate District include Elmhurst, Oak Brook, Hinsdale, Lombard and Glen Ellyn.
