Village of Winfield Committee of the Whole met August 3.

Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:

Elected Officials Present:

President Spande, Clerk Mareachen, Trustee Greer, Trustee Hogan, Trusteelongacre,

Trustee McCurdy, Trustee Mustes

Elected Officials Excused: None

Others Present

Curt Barrett, Village Manager David Schar, Police Chief

Kathie Elliott, Village Attorney Dan Watson, Engineer Rempe-Sharpe

Lynn McCammon, Finance Director Peter Krumins, Development Coordinator

John Schwartz, Management Analyst

Public Comments:

Joel Davis, the property owner on Rebecca Lane, discussed the restrictions on their property for storn Water.

Consider 2nd requested amendment to stormwater management easement at OS487 Rebecca Ln.

Development Coordinator Krumins discussed the amendments to the storm water management easement on the property to mitigate current encroachments into the stormwater easements. The Village Engineer discussed the volume of the encroachment on the easement and the volume of stormwater which was recaptured. The Trustees discussed moving this forward for a vote.

Consider approving plat of easement for OS257 Summit Drive-

Ray Soto has remodeled and added onto dwelling on Summit Drive. The original home was built in 1907. The plat was recorded in 1908 with no drainage or utility easements in the plat. In reviewing the grading plan for the project the Village engineer requested standard side and back drainage easements. The Trustees discussed moving this forward for a vote,

There were no Willage Board comments

Motion:

Trustee Sorgatz made the motion & Trustee Mustes Adjourn to executive session for purposes of discussing the potential purchase or sale of property per state statute 5 TLCS 120/205. All the Trustees voted in favor and the motion passed.
