Unpaid fine for Batavia-based campaign committee totaled $5,000 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Batavia has an overdue fine of $5,000, records obtained by the Dupage Policy Journal show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Kane County Conservative Coalition was the only campaign committee in Batavia that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The fine that Kane County Conservative Coalition has yet to pay was imposed on Nov. 22, 2016, for failure to comply with 2/15 order.
