Bensenville Elementary School District 2 Board of Education met March 8.
Here is the minutes as provided by the Board:
President Robert Laudadio called the special meeting of Bensenville Elementary School District 2 Board of Education, DuPage County to order at 6:30 p.m., at Educational Administration Center, 210 S. Church Road, Bensenville, Illinois.
Roll call verified that there was a quorum of the Board present with the following members present and absent as listed below:

A motion was made by Mrs. Prunotto and seconded by Mr. Vassar that the Board of Education approves the agenda as presented. Upon voice vote, all board members present voted aye. Motion carried.
Mr. Laudadio led all in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Finance
A. Review of Accounts Payable – Mr. Novack presented the accounts payable for review.
Building
A. Tioga PK Construction Update - Mr. Novack reported that the expected completion date is May 15th. There were no bids received for landscaping, a recommendation on next steps will be brought to the April 15th meeting. Dr. Stelter reported that he would like to go through a co-op for the purchase of playground equipment.
Conference & Action Items
A. Board Vacancy Update – Mr. Laudadio reported that he will appoint Alex Stitgen to fill the board vacancy at the March 15th meeting.
B. Superintendent Evaluation – to be reviewed in closed session.
Mr. Novack and Dr. Dugan were excused from the meeting.
New Business - none
Closed Session -
At 6:35 p.m. a motion was made by Mrs. Prunotto and seconded by Mr. Vassar that the Board of Education go into closed session for Personnel - The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity. 5 ILCS 120/2(c) (1), as amended by P.A. 93-0057. Upon voice vote, all board members present voted aye. Motion carried.
At 6:37 p.m. Mrs. Krajecki joined the meeting.
At 6:59 p.m. Mr. Sanchez joined the meeting.
At 7:12 p.m. a motion was made by Mrs. Krajecki and seconded by Mr. Vassar that the Board of Education adjourn from closed session.

Motion Carried.

At 7:14 p.m. a motion was made by Mrs. Prunotto and seconded by Mr. Sanchez to adjourn the meeting.
Upon voice vote, all board members present voted aye. Motion carried.
No further business appearing Mr. Laudadio adjourned the meeting at 7:14 p.m.
