V. Old Business
A. Results of Township Meeting on 2/22/17: The Mental Health Committee did not present at this meeting once it was learned that the Board would not support having Minds Matter, 2017 off site this year. Township Supervisor, Mary Wroblewski, has assured the committee that a sufficient number of rooms will be made available in the Township Building to accommodate speakers for the event.
Tom Sucher indicated that the Board of Trustees would be interested in hearing a review of planning for this year’s Minds Matter. In that regard, it has been suggested that the committee make a report to the Committee of the Whole (COW) at its March 15th meeting. Tom shared with the committee a written report of planning to date for this year’s event with members’ filling in some additional information on speakers, hospitality and advertising. The report will be shared with the board at the COW meeting which Tom and Susan Weisz will attend.
B. Location and room assignments: Committee members toured the Township Building to view rooms that have been identified as available for speakers for Minds Matter and other space in the building.
The committee identified 5 rooms, including the gym and Tom’s presentation room, that it appears will work well.
C. Target Audiences: were not addressed at this meeting
D. Advertising: was addressed in completion of Tom’s planning committee report for the COW meeting.
E. Exhibitors: were not addressed at this meeting other than to indicate that Township supported agencies will be invited to participate as vendors.
F. Speakers and Topics: Proposed and confirmed: Psychologist, Ralph Whetstine is the only confirmed speaker to date. Tom Sucher will follow up with Argosy University regarding their speakers’ availability. Mary Ann Ogilvie will continue trying to reach a potential speaker from the police department. The committee would also like to have Supportive Housing as a topic of presentation again this year. Township supported agencies’ participation will be sought as vendors and speakers.
Mary Ann shared a revised letter that will be sent to the agencies’ representatives shortly. It was also thought that the letter could be modified and sent to Dr. Whetstine.

H. Exhibitor Invitation Letters and Participation Forms: were not discussed at this meeting
