Young Democrats of Cook County owes $19,400 in fines

The campaign committee Young Democrats of Cook County owes a $5,000 fine imposed on June 4, 2012, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $14,400 with Desiree Kettler listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 172 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $995,091 in pending fines.
