Citizens for Sylvester Baker owes $24,255 in fines

The campaign committee Citizens for Sylvester Baker owes a $5,000 fine imposed on Nov. 18, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $19,255 with Sylvester E. Baker Jr listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 172 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $995,091 in pending fines.
