Village of Lisle Planning and Zoning Commission met Dec. 21.

Here is the agenda as provided by the Commission:

Public hearings are subject to the most current version of the Planning and Zoning Commission Public Hearing Rules of Procedures. People wishing to participate in a public hearing are asked to fill out the Public Hearing Registration Form for Comments, Testimony, or General Comments available in the hallway outside the public hearing room.

1. Public Hearing: Special Use Permit

Petitioner: Cynthia Sally of Blend Beauty

Location: 1111 Burlington Avenue, Unit #103

Request: The petitioner, Cynthia Sally of Blend Beauty, requests approval of a Special Use Permit pursuant to Section 5-10-3(A)2 (B-3A Central Retail Core District) of the Zoning Regulations to allow for the operation of beauty salon at 1111 Burlington Avenue, Unit #103.

2. Public Hearing: Rezoning, Special Use Permit, Variances

Petitioner: Village of Lisle

Location: 5500 Route 53

Request: The petitioner, the Village of Lisle, requests to rezone the property at 5500 Route 53 from R-1 (Single-Family Residence District) to B-2 (Community Business District), approval of a Special Use Permit pursuant to Section 5-9-2B (Special Uses) of the Zoning Regulations to allow for the continued usage of the gasoline service station, and approval of a Variance from Section 5- 9-2B4 (Automotive and power equipment services) to decrease the minimum required distance between the gasoline service station use any residential district; for 5500 Route 53.

3. Public Hearing: Rezoning, Special Use Permit

Petitioner: Village of Lisle

Location: 1117 Maple Avenue

Request: The petitioner, the Village of Lisle, requests to rezone the property at 1117 Maple Avenue from R-1 (Single-Family Residence District) to B-2 (Community Business District), and approval of a Special Use Permit pursuant to Section 5-9-2B (Special Uses) of the Zoning Regulations to allow for the continued usage of the gasoline service station for 5508 Route 53.

E. Public comment (items not related to the agenda)

Public comment, with respect to items that are not the subject of a public hearing required by law, is limited to five minutes for each member of the public. It is requested that, if possible, one spokesman for a group be appointed to present the views of the entire group. Speakers who are recognized are requested to step to the podium and state their name and address prior to addressing the Planning and Zoning Commission.
