4. Correspondence Review of all correspondence not related to a specific agenda item below which was received since the previous meeting.
5. Chief's forum
a. The opportunity for the Chiefs of Departments or their designated representatives to update the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners on the department status or issues.
6. Ongoing business
a. Hiring of Probationary Patrol Officer Candidates to fill authorized vacancies including the vacancy being created by the voluntary resignation of a current patrol officer.
7. New business
a. Promotion of one patrol officer to fill, by the Rule of three, the additional Sergeant Position established by the Village Board at the December 8, 2016 Village Board Meeting.
b. Authorization of any outstanding invoices related to the hiring process.
c. Approval and posting of 2017 Fire and Police Commission Regular Meeting schedule.
8. Adjournment Note: The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners may enter executive session for the discussion of personnel and legal matters as needed, however all board votes are conducted in open session.
