The village of Westmont Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met Tuesday to hire a probationary officer.

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the commission:

The board typically meets at 2 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month

to discuss topics related to police and fire department personnel, and make recommendations to the Village Board.

Review of all correspondence not related to a specific agenda item below which was received since

the previous meeting.

5. CHIEF’S FORUM

a. The opportunity for the Chiefs of Departments or their designated representatives to update

the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners on the department status or issues.

6. ONGOING BUSINESS

a. Hiring of Probationary Patrol Officer Candidates to fill current vacant positions

7. NEW BUSINESS

a. Authorize payment for Polygraph Exams conducted by Conrad Polygraph.

i. Invoice #2217 dated 9/2/2016 for polygraph exams of Candidates #28, #31, & #32 in

the amount of $480.00, if not already authorized and submitted for payment.

ii. Invoice # 2227 dated 10/01/2016 for polygraph exams of Candidates #30, #34, #36, &

#38.in the amount of $640.00

b. Review of Rules and Regulations.

c. Calendar year 2017 Regular Meeting Schedule for the Board of Fire and Police

Commissioners.

8. ADJOURNMENT

Note: The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners may enter executive session for the discussion of

personnel and legal matters as needed, however all board votes are conducted in open session.
