A Prospective Board Candidate Workshop will be held for those interested in running for the DuPage High School District No. 88 Board of Education.
The event will be hosted at the District No. 88 Office, 2 Friendship Plaza in Addison, at 6 p.m. on Oct. 17.
Potential candidates for the District 88 Board will be running for one unexpired two-year term and three (four-year) full-term seats. The school board election will be April 4, 2017.
The workshop will offer information on time requirements for being a board member, expectations of being on the board, and how to complete the filing and petition process. Participants will also have a chance to ask questions about board member responsibilities and other aspects of the seat.
