The Lombard, Illinois Zoning Board of Appeals met recently to hear a variation request for a single-family home at 515 N. Lombard Ave.
The owner had petitioned the board for a variation to allow for less than the minimum of 50 percent of the lot area to be open space, as required by the village code. The variation would reduce the open space from 50 percent to 48.5 percent.
An Inter-Departmental Review Committee Report recommended the board approve the request.
