The Village of Lombard, Illinois Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m. today, May 6, to discuss promotions.
On the agenda for the special meeting is a motion to move forward with background investigations for firefighter candidates.
After a closed executive session, the board will reconvene to discuss a promotion of a police sergeant to police lieutenant as well as a police officer to police sergeant. The board will also discuss a final offer of employment for a police candidate
The board will also hear reports from the chairperson, vice chairperson and secretary.
