St. Charles City Council recognizes National Police Week

Meeting1

The St. Charles, Illinois City Council met this week and proclaimed the week of May 15 as National Police Week and Emergency Medical Services Week in the city.

Much of the agenda dealt with routine matters to be enacted in one motion with no discussion unless a council member or citizen requested it. Among those items were a motion to approve a class B liquor license for Main Street City Pub to be located at 104 E Main St. and a resolution to execute an Intergovernmental Agreement for one year with the County of Kane for Animal Control Services.

Under new business, the council considered a motion to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to endorse the Federal Railroad Administration’s Crew Size Rule.
