The Village Board of Elk Grove, Illinois met earlier this week to review several bids and contracts.
Under the consent agenda, the board was to vote to approve a contract with SHI International of Somerset, New Jersey for the purchase of Cisco equipment upgrades in the amount of $20,699.
The board also considered a contract with Powell Tree Care Inc. for the Parkway Tree Maintenance Program. The contract amount was set at $101,000 and was to come from the Public Works General Fund.
A resolution authorizing a joint agreement between the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and the village for the resurfacing of Biesterfield Road and Oakton Street was also to be voted on by the board.
