The Sheriff's Merit Commission of DuPage County, Illinois met earlier this week to discuss several items, including the budget.
Other items discussed included a review of the interview letter, bills payable and candidate status. The commission also reviewed the timeline for the exam. The commission concluded the meeting with a closed executive session.
The Sheriff’s Merit Commission oversees all full-time deputy sheriffs and reviews applicants. The three trustees of the commission meet on the first Thursday of each month.
