The Village of Lombard’s Lombard Historical Commission has scheduled a Local Landmark Committee meeting for Tuesday, April 5 in the Village Hall Community Room to discuss the Chicago, Aurora and Elgin Railroad/Prairie Path.
The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. The committee will then review and approve the minutes from the last meeting, which occurred on March 21, before moving on to unfinished business. For this meeting, that will consist of discussions about the commemorative signage for the Chicago, Aurora and Elgin Railroad/Prairie Path. The meeting will conclude with new business.
The Lombard Historical Commission consists of Tom Fetters, Eileen Mueller, Brigitte O'Brien, Richard Anstee, Lyn Myers, Pat Poskocil, Jack Jones, Marcy Novak, Jennifer Henaghan and Stephanie Zabela, and is led by President Rita Schneider, with Village Liason Tami Urish.
