The Glen Ellyn Environmental Commission discussed plans for upcoming green-themed events at its regular meeting March 15.
The commission reviewed the Recycling Extravaganza, along with Earth Day and several other initiatives planned for 2016. The agenda also included discussions on the curbside composting program and the commission's budgeting and foundation initiative. Prior to adjournment, each of the various subcommittees presented its monthly report.
