During DuPage County’s Development Committee meeting on Feb. 16, a travel request was approved, among other items.
The committee approved a travel request for a county database and reporting specialist to be able to attend specialized training in Austin, Texas, between May 2 and May 5.
The costs associated with this request include airfare, meals, hotel and registration for the training totaling $2,435, which was paid for by a grant. All committee members that were present voted in favor of the trip.
A HOME Investment Partnership Agreement was also approved in relation to the rehabilitation of 26 units on four properties with Bridge communities.
Another matter that was brought forward related to the Northwestern Memorial Health Care and Wheaton Franciscan Sisters Corp. for an acquisition parcel that would be in line with the county’s zoning ordinance. This matter was also approved by the committee.
Meeting minutes from the committee’s Jan. 19 meeting were also reviewed and approved. Following discussions and deliberation, this meeting was adjourned at 11:13 a.m.
