The Oak Brook Board of Trustees held its regular meeting Tuesday at the Butler Government Center to review accounts and remember a resident.
Following opening proceedings and the approval of minutes, the board managed to get through a full agenda, which included the approval of accounts payable and payroll; finalizing service agreements for architectural services, legal services, marketing and advertising campaign development; and the purchase of road salt for the 2016-2017 winter season.
The board also recognized the life of Jeffrey B. Franklin, an Oak Brook resident for more than 20 years, who passed away on Feb. 11. The trustees passed a Resolution of Memoriam for Mr. Franklin, who was an appointed member of the Oak Brook Library Commission and a well-respected member of the community.
