Hinsdale Board of Trustees works through zoning, licensing issues

The Hinsdale Board of Trustees discussed a number of issues on a full agenda during its regular Jan. 19 meeting.

 First, the board president appointed a new trustee to serve on the Village Tree Board then proceeded with the meeting.

The agenda included zoning approvals for the Sedgewick property located at 55th Street and County Line Road and a discussion on the existence of empty-nester housing.

The board also reviewed a proposal to lower the annual fee for liquor licenses as well as the request for approval of the sale of factory-sealed margarita beverages at the Casa Margarita located at the train station.

Other items on the agenda included the Beary Landscaping contract for annual landscape maintenance and mowing as well as a discussion on the possible temporary vestibule structure at Fuller House Restaurant.
