Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board considers special request from Circle K

Wheaton

The Wheaton Planning and Zoning Board held a public hearing Tuesday to consider Zoning Application #16-03.

The application involves a request by Circle K Convenience Stores to demolish the existing buildings standing at 100 West Geneva Road and 110 West Geneva Road in Wheaton.

The request also asks for permission to consolidate the two properties into one lot and construct and operate a convenience store and gas station, including an automated car wash facility, on the combined property.

Per the terms of the request, the subject property would remain zoned as C-3 General Commercial District.

This application was submitted by Circle K Heartland on behalf of the owners, RDK Ventures LLC and the North Star Trust Company.

A copy of the application is available for review in the office of the Director of Planning and Economic Development, 303 West Wesley St., during normal business hours.
