The Village of Woodridge Board of Trustees received a performance report on the implementation status of the Village’s 2015 Strategic Plan during its regular board meeting on Thursday.
The Strategic Plan performance report essentially is a brief look at the accomplishments of the village government during the second half of 2015. These critical-success factors were established in July, reflect the input of residents and are guided by the priorities of elected officials. The mission statement of the plan is to “achieve a high quality of life by providing superior services in a fiscally responsible manner.” The plan centers on several Critical Success Factors, identified as Financial Stability, Intergovernmental Collaboration, Safe and Reliable Residential Neighborhoods, Development of an Engaged Diverse Community and a Well Maintained Infrastructure.
The
trustees also considered specific action items and concept outlines, while continuing to develop recommendations for a master plan that will address community needs. The next steps are for the Village Board to engage the community to evaluate and identify solutions.
