Warrenville’s Environmental Advisory Commission will hear a presentation from Sustain DuPage during its first meeting of 2016 at 7 p.m. today in the City Hall Gallery Conference Room, 28W701 Stafford Place.
Andrew Van Gorp from Sustain DuPage will speak on the group's ongoing efforts to balance the region’s economic, environmental and societal needs.
The commission also will discuss the Cool DuPage initiative, which aims to reduce energy consumption and automobile emissions in the county.
The commission also will discuss Arbor Day plans and review the Draft Climate Action .
The group also will get an update on efforts to address ongoing concerns regarding the effects of coal-tar sealants.
