The Wheaton City Council unanimously approved a pre-annexation application from Craig Wlodarek to build a home on Orchard Road at a recent meeting.
The agreement is for a 16,200-square-foot parcel. Wlodarek wants to build a single-family home there and connect to the city's water system. To do this, the city would need to annex the land and re-zone it to R-3 Single-Family Residential District.
The City of Wheaton government includes Mayor Michael J. Gresk and six City Council members. Current members are John K. Rutledge, John Prendiville, Thoresen Saline, Phil Suess, Todd Scalzo and Evelyn Pacino Sanguinetti. City Hall hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
