Warrenville Fire and Police Board discusses officer training, testing issues

Warrenville

The City of Warrenville's Fire and Police Commission Board recently met.

Following routine housekeeping proceedings and public comments, the commissioners discussed a proposed police field-training program, as well as a proposed vendor and vendor costs associated with the new police-officer testing process.

The board also considered freezing the current list of eligible police officers until Nov. 10, then conducting new officer testing.

The commission also held a closed session to discuss personnel issues.

The next meeting is set for  7 p.m., Jan. 26 at City Hall.
