At a recent meeting of the Hinsdale Board of Trustees, the agenda included consideration of citizen petitions to extend the hours on a restaurant's liquor licenses, as well as to sanction the medicinal use of marijuana.

Also during the meeting, the board appointed Scott Peterson to a three-year term on the Plan Commission and Janice D’Arco to a three-year term on the Historical Preservation Commission.

The meeting also included board President Tom Cauley's regular  report and a discussion of several planning and zoning ordinances. There also was an update provided on the progress of the Oak Street Bridge construction project.

Village officials also accepted questions from the public and members of the media.
