The Village of Lombard's Committee for Public Works and Environmental Concerns held a public meeting in the Lorraine G. Gerhardt Community Room on Wednesday at Village Hall.
Following roll call and approval of minutes, the meeting’s agenda included an update on the Fairview Lift Station improvements, and approval of change orders to contracts for several construction, maintenance and infrastructure projects throughout the village involving the Driveway Apron, Curb & Sidewalk Restoration Program and the Sewer Lining Program.
The board also considered a five-year extension of the solid-waste contract with Waste Management.
The board also reviewed the recommendations regarding renewal of the mosquito-control contract with Clark Environmental Mosquito Management for 2016 and 2017.
