The Village of Hinsdale is seeking input from residents through a survey on present and future recreational needs.

The survey asks residents what Hinsdale needs in its recreational programs, parks and other facilities. With the community's input, the village plans to develop a park and recreation plan that to help address short- and long-range goals.

This is a chance for residents to help the village decide what improvements are needed now and in the future. The voluntary survey depends on a high response rate to build a comprehensive view of the community's views, and all survey responses will be kept confidential. The survey should take about 15 minutes and can be completed online or by filling out the copy mailed to residents' homes with a postage-paid return envelope provided. The survey is due by Dec. 11.
