The Village of Downers Grove's proposed municipal 2015-16 budget is now available for resident review.
Over the next several months, the proposed budget will be reviewed and discussed during public meetings.
The first budget workshop is scheduled for 8 a.m. Oct. 10 at fire station 2.
The review process provides the opportunity for dialogue among community members, village council and staff in a series of public meetings and workshops.
The municipal budget is the village's annual implementation plan of its mission and strategic goals, with a specific goal to be a steward of financial sustainability.
