HUD Development National Disaster Resilience Competition grant funding to be discussed Sept. 21.

DuPage County staff are scheduled to provide an update on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development National Disaster Resilience Competition (NDRC) at the Village of Lisle board workshop meeting Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.

DuPage County is eligible to apply for grant funding through NDRC for projects that reduce flood risk and strengthen local communities in the face of natural disasters. DuPage County staff will outline the grant opportunity, including the application requirements and potential flood reduction opportunities in Lisle.

Residents and the village board will provide input on these initiatives and obtain answers to their questions about the grant opportunity.
