Lisle leaf pickup program kicks off Oct. 19

Leaf

The Village of Lisle Leaf Pickup Program begins Oct. 19 and runs until Nov. 20.

The program is free to single-family homes within Lisle's corporate limits.

To take advantage of the service, rake loose leaves (no grass or landscaping) to the parkway as close to the curb as possible by 7 a.m. each Monday.

Public works crews will collect the leaves once a week, weather permitting.

After the week of Nov. 17, residents should place leaves in yard waste bags or cans, and attach a yard waste sticker. Republic Services, the village’s waste hauler, will collect yard waste through Dec. 8.
